City Walks with Grethe

The City of London

The City of London is the very heart of London!

Today it is one of the most important financial centres in the world, but the City has traces of all the people who have lived here: the Romans, Saxons, and the Vikings. There are medieval alleyways and beautiful Wren churches, hidden gardens and exciting architecture spanning many centuries. The City is forever changing with stunning new buildings appearing all the time such as One New Change with first-class shopping, and a roof terrace with a view of the dome of St. Paul's and the skyline.

The City Corporation and the Lord Mayor hold office in the medieval Guildhall and nearby is the Guildhall Art Gallery and the remnants of the Roman amphitheatre.

Let me show you what the City has to offer:

From St. Paul's to the Tower of London and all the hidden corners and alleyways that you may never have seen before.
